El guitarrista Scott Ian y el batería Benante se unieron al ex bajista de Anthrax Dan Lilker (Nuclear Assault) y al pipa de Anthrax Billy Milano, como vocalista. El álbum resultante, Speak English or Die (1985), se grabó en tres días y se lanzó meses más tarde. El disco está lleno de humor tonto y machista (como la canción de tres segs «Anti-Procrastination Song» o esa oda a la leche llamada «Milk»), todo ello salpicado de piezas «falsamente» racistas y sexistas. El tono de la música es abrumadoramente alto, rápido y agresivo, pero nada serio.
